5dolls' Soomi leaves group to go solo; Park Sejoon and Nayeon join SPEED and 5dolls as new members

5dolls has gone through a surprising member change. It has been reported that 5dolls' leader Soomi has left the group and has thus been replaced by new member, Nayeon. Member Chanmi will take over as the new leader of the female sub-unit.
5doll's agency Core Content Media tells Star News, “Soomi decided she wanted to go solo, so she made the decision to leave the group.”
Soomi was previously added to SeeYa after Nam Gyuri's exit from the girl group. After promoting with SeeYa, Soomi made her exit and joined Co-ed.
Photos of Nayeon has been released and shows her having an innocent but compelling charm. According to the agency, Nayeon will turn 21 years old this year and spend her elementary years in the United States. She is fluent in English and is gifted 5 different instruments including the piano, guitar and the flute.
The female sub-unit will continue activities as a 5-member group: Naeyeon, Hyoyoung, Hyewon, Chanmi, and Eunkyo.

Co-ed's male sub-unit, SPEED, will also be joined by a 7th member. Park Sejoon will become the group's 7th member. He is a high schooler in his 3rd year with very defined eyebrows, but sharp facial features. It has been said that Park Sejoon has been praised by Core Content Media's CEO Kim Kwangsoo of being the 2nd Song Seunghoon.
SPEED recently released their first single as a 6-member group, “Lovey Dovey Plus,” a remake of T-ara's recent hit shuffle dance track. The music video had an explosive reaction from fans on the first day of release on GOM TV.
In addition, an official said, “5dolls will be moved to GM Contents Media, a partner agency of Core Content Media. The agency is being run by Kwon Sibong, who has worked alongside Core Content Media's CEO Kim Kwangsoo for over 10 years.”
The official adds that SPEED will make the same agency move to GM Contents Media. “SPEED will continue to become active in their music as producers as well.”
